My best friend Lucy is getting marrying in one month today! I am so excited and pleased for her as she has been telling us all for a long time how she thought she was going to stay single forever and how she was just not meeting the right type of man. A few years ago upon meeting Kevin at a trade conference she completely transformed as a person. It feels like I have two new friends. She is now more outgoing and a lot happier in general.

Anyway, Lucy and Kevin have been living together for over a year and they recently decided to buy their own home together. As you can tell, they are that serious! They both moved out of Kevin’s rented flat last month and moved into a brand new home together. Everything they own is in boxes right now – they can’t even find any bottle openers to celebrate moving. From what I have seen the house is a blank canvas but I’m sure it won’t take Lucy long to make it a home. The kitchen/dining area is amazing. The area is very spacious and perfect for them to entertain in. It contains all the (integral) mod cons including marble work surfaces.

My challenge today is to find them a wedding present. Just recently my parents kindly sent over some gift vouchers from wineware.co.uk a drinks hardware suppllier as my father has over time turned wine buying into something of a hobby! Looking through their website I noticed that they had a fantastic selection of dinner sets to select from and I am thinking of buying their present there. I’ve visited the other stores in my area but I haven’t seen a thing that matches their current prices. I can visualize them now. They should fit in to their new kitchen/diner nicely.
